Genesis

WASMO was created for bringing perceptible systemic changes through a paradigm shift in the role of governance from provider to facilitator and citizens engagement in drinking water service delivery at users’ level in rural areas of Gujarat State.

Organisation Structure

WASMO is an autonomous organisation established by the Government of Gujarat in 2002. Through its various offices WASMO has a presence in all districts of Gujarat.

Partners

WASMO believes in 'building partnerships and working together'. For community managed projects it has therefore built partnerships with the Gram Panchayats, rural communities, NGOs working across the state, civil society, others players in the sector and funding agencies.
