In the Indian culture, water, a prime necessity of life, holds a position of reverence and we even worship Lord Varun in this respect. The State of Gujarat has been successful in bringing in a Water Revolution, in wake of the water crisis, which is gradually becoming a universal phenomenon.

By making water conservation a way of life and evolving an integrated approach for management and planning of water resources, Gujarat has provided an example for the rest of the country to follow.
