This will lead to formation of a water supply grid, which will provide safe drinking water to around 14,000 villages and 174 towns by 2007. However, there are some areas of the state which will not be covered extensively as a part of this state wide grid. To fill these gaps and to ensure drinking water security, WASMO has conceived several new projects, for which funding is sought from various sources, both international and national.
