For the ERR project, ISAs have been selected from among the NGOs already working in the region on community mobilisation, water-related issues and rehabilitation. A rigorous procedure was adopted for selection, based on the guidelines set by an external panel. So far, 31 NGOs have been engaged to work in 809 villages. Table 1 provides the contact details of these organisations. Table 2 shows the number of villages assigned to each ISA and their areas of operation. As can be seen, not all villages have been assigned to an ISA. The remaining villages are taken care of directly by WASMO's Coordination, Monitoring and Support units.
