WASMO's goal is to empower village communities to enable them to have sustainable drinking water and sanitation facilities, and hygienic habitats. With the help of Implementation Support Agencies (ISAs) and village level pani samitis, WASMO carries out a series of programmes that take up each of these goals and address them in an effective manner. The programmes are:

  

 
These programmes are not stand-alone entities but are interlinked and implemented in the field in a number of projects and campaigns throughout Gujara

WASMO also organises volunteer and internship programmes giving people the chance to contribute, learn and develop into future leaders and managers sensitive to the conditions in the drinking water and sanitation sector.
