WASMO believes that sustainability is possible if the systems created are demand-driven and community-owned, and people are appropriately empowered to manage them. WASMO's projects reflect this belief. They also emphasis that women are made part of the entire process as they are the main users and managers of water in households and look after household hygiene.

Earthquake Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (ERR)

This Project aims to restore and develop water supply and sanitation facilities in all 1,260 Earthquake affected villages of the drought-prone, earthquake affected districts.

Swajaldhara/Sector Reform Scheme (State)

This project follows a demand-responsive strategy and explores ways to institutionalise community participation in increasing sustainability of drinking water sources and systems in rural areas.

 

Water Quality Monitoring and Surveillance

This project aims at enabling people to ensure that they get safe drinking water and demand it.

ITDP  

Integrated Tribal Development Project

This project has been initiated to address the drinking water and sanitation issues in the very backward tribal talukas of Valsad and Navsari districts of the state.
